A little gem of a cushion! Quirky and bright, and just the right size for a flourish of decorative comfort.
Each handwoven panel uses a blend of alpaca and silk hand-dyed in several shades of green by an independent dyer in northern Scotland. The pattern detail is inlaid in a handspun blend of Merino and silk. The panel is backed with purple cotton fabric to make a simple envelope cushion cover.

If you are in the UK, I will include the feather-filled pad for no additional cost. If you are overseas, I recommend purchasing a cushion pad locally to save on shipping. However, if you would prefer to purchase one from me, please get in touch.
These are the very last pieces in my Highland Summer collection, which I no longer weave.
Each cushion cover is approximately 30 x 30 cm (or 12 x 12 inches). The feather pad I use is 35 x 35 cm, because nothing is sadder than an un-plump cushion.
This handwoven cover should be washed by hand and dried flat. Use a cool iron on the back to press.
These little cushions tell the story of a Scottish summer. The quirky asymmetric design is based on mean summer temperature data for the east, west and northern regions of Scotland, and the colours are inspired by the wild orchids which bloom in the Highlands in June, July and August.
This collection is exclusively available direct from Bonny Claith. You will only find it online.
